Humans,( in my opinion) are quite the anomaly when it comes to all the wonderful creatures that are fortunate enough to call this beautiful planet, home.

We appear to be the only species that actively seeks to distance ourselves from natural law, which of course leads us onto that rather slippery slope that leads to the Shenanigan valley!

Why do we do this? Well that’s a loaded question to which I am only partially qualified to answer.  I shall endevour however to add my little piece to this rather intricate puzzle.

In a nutshell… We forget!

I believe that we choose to incarnate here on Earth for one purpose. The evolution of the soul, but in order for this to occur, we first need to “forget” so that we can get to play in the fertile lands of the valley. And it is indeed fertile my friends, for there are an infinite number of pools, marshes and bogs for us to get lost in! It really is a beautifully designed game that each and every one of us get to play.

There does however come a time when many of us tire of splashing in the mire and decide that we want to begin the journey homeward. This, often times occurs, when we have reached our lowest point. Hey, isn’t this the game we decided to play?

When do these low points strike? They strike when the chasm between ourselves and natural/spiritual/universal law grows so vast that we as a human being can no longer function effectively, where we have unconsciously distance ourselves from that magical vital life force.

It is here that many of us receive the “call” to return home, and this is a beautiful thing.

But… Receiving the call is one thing. Deciding to answer the call is a whole different kettle of fish, (I really must look up where that saying comes from….)

Answering the call takes courage, a courage that resides within each and every one of us!

All we need to do is turn the mirror and start looking inwards. Easy peasy!

It’s so easy to look outwardly and blame the world for all of our woes, but this serves only to keep us within the depths of the valley.

The most beautiful gift one can ever give themselves is the gift of answering the “call”.

It is here where one begins the ascent. The slopes can get a little steep at times but fear not, for as you continue the climb you will discover others around you on that very same journey, others who will be there to help you with the ascent.

I shall leave you with this. On the climb, there will be times that you stop and take a pause for a breather. When you do, don’t forget to look around and see how far you have come….

The view will be breathtaking!!!
